These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Arman Cab’s services, including our website, mobile apps, booking platform, and dispatch system. By accessing or using any part of our service, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. These terms ensure a smooth, secure, and transparent experience for both passengers and drivers.

General Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

The following Terms and Conditions are adopted by all customers and clients of Arman Cab’s (“we”, “us”, “our”) upon booking and will apply to all taxis/private hire vehicles arranged through Arman Cab’s. By booking a journey, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Our Role

Arman Cab’s acts as a dispatching platform and booking agent for independent, self-employed drivers licensed by the appropriate local authority. The transport contract exists between the customer and the assigned driver.

3. Bookings

Bookings can be made via our website, mobile app, or by phone. Online and app-based bookings are powered by our iCabbi system, which provides real-time updates and secure payment processing.

Arman Cab’s reserves the right to correct any errors in the information provided during the booking process, including pricing mistakes. If you do not wish to proceed after being informed of any corrections, you may cancel your booking, and any payments made will be refunded in full.

We reserve the right to change the type of vehicle you have booked to ensure fulfillment of the journey. We will endeavor to provide alternatives of a similar type and class if the requested vehicle is unavailable.

4. Fares & Payments

All fares booked via the website or app are processed securely through Stripe. Payments are collected by Arman Cab’s on behalf of the driver. Please note that VAT is not charged on most fares, as the majority of drivers are not VAT-registered.

Fares displayed during booking are estimates based on fixed pricing or local rates, and may be subject to change due to traffic conditions, extra stops, or passenger requests during the journey.

Prepayment is required for:

Long-distance or out-of-area journeys
Airport transfers
Any fixed fare trips booked via the web or app
Accepted Payment Methods

Debit/Credit Card (via Stripe)
Online prepayment (web or app)

Extra charges may apply in the following cases:
Waiting time beyond the grace period
Out-of-hours bookings (e.g. between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM)
Cleaning charges (e.g. soiling fee of up to £120)
Extra luggage, pets, or specific vehicle requests (e.g. multi-seaters)
Requests requiring a larger or different vehicle than originally booked
Deviations from the pre-booked route, including additional stops or changes in drop-off location

Additional Notes
Child seats are not included and must be requested in advance. Additional fees may apply.
Tips are not included in the fare and may be given directly to the driver at your discretion.

5. Insurance

Arman Cab’s and its drivers are not responsible for any damage or loss of goods during a trip. Customers are responsible for insuring their goods if necessary.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made via the contact page here or by phone at 01273 232323. Refunds depend on the timing of the cancellation as follows:

Refund Policy:
1–4 passenger vehicles:

  • More than 7 days before the journey: 90% refund

  • Between 6 days and the day of travel: 50% refund

5–7 passenger vehicles:

  • More than 14 days before the journey: 90% refund

  • Between 13 days and the day of travel: 50% refund

If a customer cancels a booking after a driver has been assigned for 5 minutes or more, a £5.00 cancellation fee will apply. Of this, £3.50 will be paid to the driver, and the remaining amount retained by Arman Cab’s to cover transaction and refund processing costs.

Failure to show up at the agreed pick-up point within 5 minutes may also be treated as a late cancellation and subject to the same charge.

Additional waiting time or parking charges may still apply and must be paid directly to the driver.

If a customer fails to appear at the designated pick-up point and the driver has waited the minimum required 5 minutes, a 50% refund may be issued in accordance with the above policy.

Refunds or charges for the return leg of a journey will be calculated based on the above.

Credit account customers are exempt from cancellation charges unless a driver has already been dispatched.

7. Liability

Estimated trip times and arrival times are provided for guidance only and may be affected by traffic, weather conditions, or other unforeseen factors. Customers are responsible for allowing adequate time for their journey.

Arman Cab’s is not liable for any losses resulting from delays or missed connections, including flights or trains.

8. Behaviour

Arman Cab’s and its drivers reserve the right to terminate a trip if passenger conduct is disruptive or unsafe. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

Passengers are not permitted to consume alcohol in the vehicle.

Drivers may refuse carriage to passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

9. Limitations and Exclusions

Arman Cab’s and its drivers are not responsible for:

  • Loss or damage to items valued over £50 unless agreed at the time of booking.

  • Transporting hazardous, illegal, or perishable items.

  • Consequential losses, including loss of profit or revenue.

  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, traffic, or acts of God.

10. Pricing

Fixed prices may be offered for certain journeys and must be agreed upon and paid in advance at the time of booking. Deviations from the agreed route may result in additional charges.

11. Airport Transfers

Airport transfers must be booked in advance and include a 45-minute waiting period from the flight’s landing time. Additional waiting time or parking charges may apply and must be paid directly to the driver.

Full payment for airport transfers must be made in advance.

Meet-and-greet services are included at the designated terminal pick-up points.

12. Cleaning Charges

A cleaning surcharge of £120 will apply if the vehicle is soiled during the journey. This fee is payable directly to the driver or will be deducted from the fare.

13. Amendments to Terms

Arman Cab’s reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website.

Corporate Account Terms & Conditions

These terms apply specifically to approved Corporate Account holders who have completed and submitted the Arman Cab’s Corporate Account Application Form and received confirmation of account setup. These are in addition to the general terms and conditions.

1. Account Eligibility & Responsibility

Corporate accounts are available to registered companies, schools, hotels, or other approved entities. All information provided during registration must be accurate and kept up to date. The company is responsible for ensuring that only authorised personnel use the account for bookings.

2. Booking Methods

Corporate clients may book rides via:
– Our website at armancabs.co.uk
– The Arman Cab’s app (once live)
– Telephone or WhatsApp, using the approved booking contact(s)

PIN codes or driver passwords may be required to confirm bookings, where requested by the client and enabled by Arman Cab’s.

3. Invoicing & Payment Terms

Invoices are issued on a weekly or monthly basis, as selected by the client during registration.
Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Late payments may result in temporary account suspension or withdrawal of credit facilities.

Invoices may include:
– Trip summaries
– Custom reference fields (e.g. PO numbers, cost centres)
– VAT where applicable

Failure to pay within the stated time frame may result in temporary suspension of booking privileges. A £4.00 service charge is applied to each journey booked through a corporate account. This fee covers priority dispatch, account management, and administrative support. It is retained by Arman Cab’s and does not form part of the driver’s fare.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

5. Custom Booking & Invoice Fields

Where requested, Arman Cab’s can include custom fields for internal tracking or billing purposes. These may include department names, contact references, PO numbers, or other identifying codes, as submitted in the registration form.

6. Communication & Updates

We may provide trip confirmations and updates by email, phone, or WhatsApp, using the contact details provided at registration. It is the client’s responsibility to keep these details accurate and notify us of any changes.

All booking confirmations will be sent to the registered billing or booking contact provided.

7. Data & Privacy

All data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Arman Cab’s will never share client data with third parties without consent, except as required for service delivery or legal obligations.

8. Termination

Arman Cab’s reserves the right to suspend or terminate a corporate account at any time in the event of misuse, non-payment, or breach of terms (Any misuse includes unauthorised use of PIN codes, repeated late payments, or breaches of passenger conduct). Clients may also request to close their account in writing with at least 7 days’ notice.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
